Bio: Riyaj Shamsudeen
Riyaj is a globally recognized expert in Oracle database performance and internals. He has almost two decades of experience implementing, using and tuning Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Oracle products. Currently, he is the President of OraInternals, a database services company specializing in Oracle database performance among others. Riyaj is the author of five books on Oracle technologies and multiple articles. He is also a proud member of OakTable Network, a network for Oracle scientists, and the author of the Oracle database Internals blog (http://orainternals.wordpress.com/). Riyaj is a frequent international speaker in major conferences such as UK Oracle User Group, Open World, HotSOS, and Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group.
